What is the MLA Updates event about?
The MLA Updates will be a day of presentations, displays and demonstrations bringing levy payers up to speed on MLA and ISC investments and progress against our 2025 Strategic Plan. It is important for MLA to provide an update on how its investments are creating positive impact for the red meat industry, and also enable stakeholders to interact with MLA staff.
-
What is ‘sustainability from paddock to plate’ about?
This year, the theme of MLA Updates is ‘sustainability from paddock to plate’. MLA has delivered never-before-seen gains to the Australian red meat industry with the help of producers in the paddock all the way to consumers putting Australian red meat on their plate. Through bold and strategic investments, MLA has boosted industry’s progress towards our shared goal of doubling the value of Australian red meat sales by 2030 with solutions and technology that embrace sustainability and set you up for success. The past 12 months has been increasingly challenging for our red meat producers. This is why it is important we are continuing to research, develop and adopt solutions and technology that will drive industry prosperity and overcome challenges both on-farm and off-farm.
